Where do your loyalties lie? We may be rather on the Dark side, but we welcome you all. Hogwarts students, Professors, Shopkeepers and elves, Death Eaters and Aurors and more!
Who will you choose to be...?

Our plot started after the 'Half Blood Prince' episode and is now at the Deathly Hallows stage. We are following our own plot but it will have some canon parallels with the last book. We recommend you read all the books before roleplaying here, but you are not absolutely required to read last book beforehand, since we write our own plots.

Harry and Co. are 19/20 years old, meaning they are no longer students at Hogwarts, and the Wizarding World is becoming an even more dangerous place than ever before. People are still doubting Harry Potter and his popularity is flagging, but there is a race to find one of the Hallows and the remaining Horcruxes. What part will you play in our story? Please read along this side table to help you learn more about the site and the plotlines.

If you do not want to roleplay, you are still very welcome - please do still read The (Muggle) Decrees first, then make your way over to the Witching Hour and join in with our OOC chat! You can also join in with our competitions and games, and our Duelling game too if you wish.

Part 2: 'The Elder Wand'.

Harry faces an increasingly isolated and painful time as he is hunted by Death Eaters after double-crosses Lord Voldemort, with the added heartbreak of loosing the trust of his friends and the almost the whole of the Wizarding World labelling him as a traitor. His only comfort is the Resurrection Stone, one of the legendary Hallows, that was given to him by Lord Voldemort as an emotional bribe to join him, but he must be careful not to loose his mind to it. Now, Harry must prove his return to fight against the dark forces at large and redeem himself to all those who once had faith in him. But in the meantime, Voldemort is not far away from discovering the Elder Wand and an incident regarding the Minister of Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour, means that the Death Eaters are not the only ones after Harry...
Part I: 'Novus Universitas'

Lord Voldemort has taken over Azkaban, cloaking it invisible and turning it into a private base and training grounds for the Death Eaters. Meanwhile, the Ministry are failing to bring calm back to the Wizarding World and Harry is still refusing to help them. The Order are frantically recruiting and the trio are trying to persuade the Order to train up the DA to boost the Auror count and Harry's protection.

Voldemort is now seeking the Elder Wand and Harry is still yet to learn of the Hallows. Harry and his friends need to work quickly before it's too late and before Voldemort manages even more of a grip over the increasingly frail Wizarding World...

POTTER IS NOT THE ONE!
Widespread disgust for the Boy-Who-Lived sweeps the Wizarding World as they come to terms with the news that Potter has become a Death Eater. The Prophet say DO NOT APPROACH POTTER if you see him as he may be dangerous. Please report the sighting to the Prophet or the Law Enforcement squad at the Ministry.

MINISTRY: POTTER IS NOT A DEATH EATER
The Ministry appear to show their complete denial in the Potter/DE saga. An unnamed spokewizard for the Minister, Rufus Scrimgeour, had this to say: There is no cause for concern. Harry is not a threat to the Wizarding World. The claim that he has joined the murderer of his parents is preposterous.

Severus Snape has been quoted to say this about the claims 'No comment'.

The Prophet guarantees to be the first to report on any further news.

SEVERE WEATHER WARNINGS!
The Society of UK Weather Seers issued a warning today of severe ice and snow across the whole of the UK. Two have already died from hypothermia from flying at night-times in the extreme sub-zero temperatures without due protection. Please do not fly unless necessary and wear heated robes - and use basic heating charms on your brooms.

INNOCENT VEELA IS ATTACKED! <;br> In a shock incident, a half Veela was brutally attacked in Diagon Alley this week. The pretty blonde, Noelle Cheever, was a former Hogwarts student and was attacked by a dark wizard after a night out in the Leaky Cauldron. The brute even went so far as to use an innocent passer-by and her child as human shields in case his victim tried to fight back. She was badly hexed, and suffered extensive injuries, including a broken arm. Her clothes were also viciously ripped off during the attack, to add insult to injury. Miss Cheever was unavailable for comment about the incident.

	Diagon Alley Wizards come from far and wide to shop here. Diagon Alley is invisible to Muggles and is accessible through The Leaky Cauldron in Charing Cross Road.
